To create vibrant, inviting spaces, one must be more of a gardener than an engineer. Think and work in terms of the whole, not individual parts. Work for joy, with joy, and in a responsible manner—for ourselves, society, and the environment. That is what makes us want to work at TAM, what makes our partners want to work with us, and how we increase the value of our customers’ investments.
We at TAM have together developed this Code of Conduct to clarify who we are and how everyone working on behalf of TAM (employees and business partners) should act. Each of us is responsible for upholding TAM’s integrity and reputation. Therefore, we are all personally responsible for reading, understanding, and acting in accordance with the Code.
Stina Oja, CEO

4. We want all the goods and services we purchase to be produced under sustainable and responsible conditions. We impose corresponding requirements on our suppliers, which means that the supplier must comply with this Code as well as the Real Estate Industry’s Code of Conduct for Suppliers, which we endorse. Among other things, it includes provisions regarding freedom of association, statutory leave, a safe working environment, undeclared work, forced labor, and child labor. We expect our suppliers to do their utmost to meet these requirements within their own organizations and to actively work to ensure compliance among their subcontractors.
5. We support and respect human rights and the ILO’s core conventions. We avoid directly or indirectly adversely affecting human rights in our business operations, and take corrective action if this should occur.
